Papa and Grammy's Visit October 2008

Papa and Grammys came to visit before their big trip to Australia. We were supposed to have dinner at our house but last minute I decided that I really wanted to get out of the house - so very last minute I talked Brandon into taking us all to dinner at "Cracker Barrell". Home cooking without the work and dishes. ;) I promise - Malachi did receive lots of attention too but somehow I only captured pix of Jonah. Whoops. Momma's gonna to have work on that. (Sounds pretty Tullahomian, huh?)

Enjoy the video of Grammys and Jonah's adorable grin.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Horton's Visit

The first week of October, we were blessed with a visit from my Grandparents from Missouri. I love them so much and they are so dear to my heart - so its always a blessing to see them and even more of a blessing to have my children spend time with them. As a little girl I remember running to the end of our very long driveway and waiting for them when they would come to visit. I couldn't wait. This time I didn't wait at the end of the driveway but I was waiting in the driveway. :) I love you Granny and Grandpa.

The quilt in the second picture is a quilt that my Grandma made for Malachi. It is a doggy quilt or a Hillybilly Hounddog Quilt. She knows how much Malachi loves his doggy. He loves it. Him and Brandon wrap up in it every night as they read their bedtime stories. What a treasured gift.

Malachi's Potty Success - October 2008

I made a chart for Malachi to put stickers on when he goes to the potty. When he filled up the chart we took him to get a new McQueen Lightening toy. Here is his filled out chart and his new reward.

OK - so thats just a cute pix of our youngest - no he's not potty trained yet.

Family Camping Trip in September

At the end of September, we went camping with Candi's family in Mt. Juliet. It was so much fun. We grew up camping and I have so many fond memories camping. It was a blessing to share it with my kids. So you might be wondering how camping went with 2 babies. . . well - I did cheat a little bit. The campsite was just 5 minutes from my mom's house; so late late at night - Jonah and I would jump in the truck and go home to Nana's. We normally got back to the campsite just about the same time everyone was starting to climb out of their tents. Enjoy the photos.

Nana purchased these blow up loveseat and chairs. So, the boys were put to work.

Jonah loved being outdoors. Mom had a tent that was just screen. He loved it there. In this photo he is fast asleep in his bouncy seat.

Nana and Auntie Mandy with the boys on the oh-so-very comfortable couch. ;)
I forgot to bring Malachi's little potty - so we ended up running to walmart to purchase a little potty for him to use. He did so good using it all weekend. I dont think he ever had an accident after we purchased the potty. And the box made a great toy.

Brandon and Brady fished, fished, fished, and then fished some more. With little luck, (sorry boys to tell on you. ) But quality guy time they had.

Below is more pictures that I thought you might enjoy:
